Guardian Alarm Employees Donate Holiday Gifts

Southfield, MI - To kick off the holiday season, Guardian Alarm employees decorated shoeboxes and filled them with clothes, candy, school supplies and other items that will be shipped to needy children throughout the world as part of the Operation Christmas Child program from Samaritan’s Purse charitable organization.
“I’ve donated these gift filled shoeboxes for the last several years and thought it would be great to get everyone here at Guardian involved,” explained Joey Ritz, manager of Guardian Alarm’s Sales and Installation Administration team. She continues, “We have so many caring people here that I knew we could collect a lot of boxes.”
A total of 33 boxes were packed, labeled and prepped for drop off. Each box is geared toward a specific age (from 2 to 14) and sex, and can be tracked so that the giver knows exactly where their donation is sent. For more information on this program, visit samaritanspurse.org.
