Shopping Extravaganza Benefits Meals on Wheels

Guardian Medical Monitoring and The Look For Less have announced that the upcoming fundraising event “The Meals on Wheels Holiday Extravaganza” on Friday November 6th, 2009 from 8am to 7pm.  Guardian Medical Monitoring will be hosting the event at their World Headquarters in Southfield, MI. in association with The Look For Less, who brings the boutique to you with their selection of jewelry, handbags, accessories, clothes and gifts.

Susan Miller, Assistant General Manager at Guardian Medical Monitoring, explains, "A $5 donation gets you in the door for a fun and fab shopping experience just in time for the holidays. You can see fashion at its finest, with prices to fit your budget, while helping to support Meals on Wheels.  Unfortunately, hunger never takes a holiday."

Guardian will match a percentage of the proceeds and The Look For Less will be donating a portion of their sales to the following Area Agencies on Aging: AAA 1-B, Detroit AAA and The Senior Alliance who will present the money to Meals on Wheels.
