A State-Of-The-Art Central Monitoring Station

Our Central Monitoring Station is completely self-contained with an emergency power supply that allows us to support our personal emergency response systems around the clock. Our backup power supply far exceeds minimal requirements and can power the facility for an extended period of time. In the event of a power failure, multiple emergency generators supply constant power to the Central Monitoring Station indefinitely.

The Guardian Central Monitoring Station is an Underwriters Laboratory (UL) certified and Factory Mutual (FM) approved Central Monitoring Station in compliance with the very rigid standards required. It is important to note that this certification is not held by most alarm monitoring companies in general, let alone those monitoring personal emergency response systems. These standards include, but are not limited to, a sophisticated automation system, sufficient stand-by power generators, and a facility that meets strict fire and environmental codes.

Guardian’s Central Monitoring Station is equipped with a primary receiver, multiple backup receivers, a clock printer, event audio recording equipment, a backup generator power supply, a primary telephone line monitor, and a backup telephone line monitor. Because of this setup a single element can fail without causing a loss of signal. Through the local telephone company, Guardian does have the ability to transfer all monitoring and communication systems.
